We arrived safely in Minnesota last night around 5:30pm and moved our stuff into our new place. We aren't able to actually move into the new apartment until the end of the month, but they are letting us store all of our stuff there until then.
Initial thoughts are that it is exactly what we expected, except the bedrooms may be a little smaller than we anticipated. The landlords seem to be very nice people and we are excited to begin this new journey!
It was quite the experience caravaning with me driving the Penske moving truck while towing one car and Christy driving the other car behind me! Not exactly the best and most efficient way to travel but it works!
As of 8:30 the temperature is 34 F so it isn't too cold here, hopefully most of the snow won't melt, but I don't think it will be too much of a problem, since there is a lot of it piled around :)
Those are some of the initial thoughts on Minnesota, more as we explore!
