American Idol Gives Back On American Idol last night, Ryan Seacrest announced "IDOL GIVES BACK," a two night special, to air on April 24 and 25, to raise awareness and money for people living in extreme poverty. On Tuesday, April 24, the top six remaining contestants will sing songs of hope and compassion, and every time someone votes for one of them, sponsors will donate money to charities including: Charity Projects Entertainment Fund (CPEF), UNICEF, The Global Fund, Save the Children, Nothing But Nets and Malaria No More. The Wednesday, April 25, show will feature stars such as Gwen Stefani, Josh Groban, Pink, Michael Bublé, Annie Lennox, Il Divo and Sacha Baron Cohen, and the money raised will again go to organizations fighting poverty domestically and abroad.
